Let’s talk about the first season of Paatal Lok, as season 2 is about to be released. If you don’t completely remember the story of season 1 from 2020, don’t worry! I’ve prepared a full recap of Paatal Lok season 1, covering all the essential details.
Episode 1: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
The story begins with Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary and his junior, Imran Ansari, who are investigating a domestic violence case. However, the real story begins when we enter a hotel room. Here, we meet four main characters: Vishal Tyagi, Thop Singh, Kabir Ramp, and Chini. The police’s undercover team catches them in an attempt to murder journalist Sanjeev Mehra. The interrogation process begins, and the case is handed over to Hathiram, whose personal life is also filled with struggles. At the end of the episode, a revelation changes the direction of the entire story.
Episode 2: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
In this episode, we see that Sanjeev Mehra’s career is on the verge of collapse. The channel owner threatens to fire him, but Sanjeev finds support in Sara Matthews, a fan of his. During Kabir’s interrogation, it is revealed that his job was only to steal cars, a task given to him by his boss Tariq. Afterward, Imran reaches Tariq’s house, but Tariq manages to escape the police. The episode ends with Hathiram deciding to go to Chitrakoot, while Imran heads to Punjab to gather information about Thop Singh’s past life.
Episode 3: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
We are shown Vishal Tyagi’s backstory. We learn why he killed three boys, but there are still many questions in the story. Hathiram realizes that the roots of this case lie in Chitrakoot, so he goes there to gather more information about Tyagi. Meanwhile, Imran reaches Thop Singh’s village and learns about Thop Singh’s past life from his uncle.
Episode 4: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
Imran receives some good news he clears the IAS men’s exam. However, there is a big revelation in jail: Chini is not a girl, but a transgender. If this information comes out, it could disgrace the police department. Later, during the interrogation of Chini, it is revealed that she had to stay in the car with the other three for 734 days, and this task was assigned to her by her boss, Mukesh Taleja. Taleja’s search continues, but he flees to Dubai.
Episode 5: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
In this episode, the CBI enters, and the case turns into a terrorist-related investigation. During this time, Sanjeev Mehra receives breaking news, and a strange question arises: How did an Urdu book end up in Kabir’s apartment when he didn’t even know how to read Urdu?
Episode 6: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
Kabir is murdered in jail, and we gain insights into Uttar Pradesh’s politics. The connection between Minister Balakishan Vajpayee and Gwala Gurjar is revealed. Meanwhile, Hathiram uncovers several new facts related to Sanjeev Mehra’s case.
Episode 7: Key Mysterious Events and Revelations
Hathiram goes back to Chitrakoot and meets Rajbir Poojari, who was Tyagi’s PT. Rajbir explains how Tyagi was sent to work for Duneelia after a significant incident, an event that changes Tyagi’s life and turns him into a killer.
Season 2: Upcoming Major Mysteries and Events
In season 2, Hathiram is kidnapped by Gwala Gurjar’s men. Hathiram tells him that he knows Duneelia is dead, and then a thrilling end unfolds.
