Good Morning Everyone!

Today is our 76th Republic Day. It’s a very special day that makes us feel proud and happy. I am honored to deliver a speech on this special occasion.

First of all, I wish you all a very Happy Republic Day. India gained independence from British rule on August 15, 1947, but this did not mean that we were completely free. It took a few more years for our country to transition from a sovereign state to a democratic one. On January 26, 1950, India’s Constitution came into effect, and since then, we have celebrated this day as Republic Day every year. This historic day marks the beginning of India as a democratic republic.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar helped draft India’s Constitution, and we express our gratitude for his invaluable contribution in shaping the future of India. Republic Day reminds us of the freedom, equality, and justice that we enjoy as a democratic country like India. We, the people, are the real decision-makers, but to keep our democracy strong, we must actively participate, respect different opinions, and remain united despite our differences.

We have all heard the stories of our brave freedom fighters. Let’s learn from their courage and dedication and work together to make our country stronger. So, on this Republic Day, let us all pledge to be good citizens. Let’s celebrate our diversity and work together to build a brighter future for India.

Shayri: May India’s Republic be even stronger,
May our unity make every challenge no longer.
On this Republic Day, let’s take a vow,
To make life better for every citizen, here and now

Once again, Happy Republic Day! Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!
