Although its earnings slowed during weekdays, it remains strong at the box office and has been declared a superhit.
“Vidaa Muyarchi” Faces Fluctuations
Ajith Kumar’s “Vidaa Muyarchi” earned ₹134.65 crore in its first six days. While the film is performing well among Tamil audiences, it hasn’t gained much traction in its Hindi and Telugu versions. With a budget of ₹250 crore, the film needs to earn significantly more to be considered a hit.
“Thandel” Delivers a Stellar Performance
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s “Thandel” has garnered ₹71.60 crore worldwide in just five days. The film has received massive support from Telugu audiences, though its Hindi and Tamil versions have underperformed. Nonetheless, its overall box office performance has been impressive.
“Sanam Teri Kasam” Re-Release Creates a Buzz
The 2016 film “Sanam Teri Kasam” was re-released in theaters after nine years and has turned into a superhit this time. It collected ₹42.51 crore in just five days, significantly surpassing its original box office earnings. With a budget of just ₹19 crore, the film is now considered a blockbuster.
“Chhava” Breaks Records in Advance Booking
Vicky Kaushal’s historical action drama “Chhava” is set to release on February 14, 2025. The film’s advance booking has been phenomenal, with ₹13.34 crore worth of tickets sold within the first three days. It is expected to be Vicky Kaushal’s biggest opening film to date.
