A Republic Day Speech Full of Enthusiasm
Sayri:
“Today is Republic Day, fill your heart with enthusiasm,
Let every heart on India’s soil rejoice.
In the glory of the Constitution, let every tongue sing,
We are all one, this is our Hindustan.”
Hello friends,
Respected Principal, esteemed teachers, and my dear friends,
Today, this auspicious day is a symbol of pride and enthusiasm for all of us. This historic day of January 26 not only reminds us of the establishment of our republic, but also narrates the inspiring tales of the sacrifices, struggles, and patriotism of our freedom fighters. We all know that on August 15, 1947, we gained independence, but this freedom did not come easily. Behind it lies the hard work, sacrifice, and martyrdom of our brave freedom fighters.
When the British occupied India, our brave sons risked their lives to challenge them. Whenever our nation faced a crisis, the sons of Bharat Mata fulfilled their duty. Mangal Pandey ignited the spark of the 1857 rebellion and challenged the entire British rule. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev sacrificed their lives, teaching us that sacrificing one’s life for freedom is also an honor.
When Bhagat Singh said, “Inquilab Zindabad,” that slogan became etched in the heart of every youth in the country. So, friends, let us also raise that slogan with pride. Say it loudly with me, with full strength, “Inquilab Zindabad!”
Our great leader Subhas Chandra Bose formed the Azad Hind Fauj and said, “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.” His slogan inspired a wave of revolution across the nation. Let us raise a proud slogan for him. Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Bharat Mata Ki Jai!
On January 26, 1950, our Constitution was implemented, and India became a republic. This day is special because it reminds us of both our rights and duties. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar drafted a Constitution that granted every citizen the rights of equality, freedom, and justice. Today, we can proudly say that our Constitution is one of the best in the world. So, say it loud, we will protect the Constitution, and we will always honor Bharat Mata!
Friends, today is not just a day for slogans or hoisting flags. It motivates us to fulfill our duties toward our country. We must promote education, cleanliness, and equality. How can we forget our brave soldiers, who still sacrifice their lives on the borders to protect us? Let us say for them, “As long as the sun and moon exist, Bharat will always remain!”
Our history is so glorious, friends, that hearing it makes every Indian’s head rise with pride. So, one last time, say with me, “Sāre jahān se acchā Hindositān hamārā, ham bulbulen hain iski, ye gulshtān hamārā!”
Sayri:
“Everyone has understood the price of freedom,
On Republic Day, let us all pledge,
To promise our motherland,
We will always honor and uphold its glory.”
Jai Hind! Vande Mataram! Bharat Mata Ki Jai!
