CID Season 2: Story of the First Episode
CID Season 2 begins with a thrilling and dramatic storyline. The first episode introduces a new plot, new characters, and the evolving dynamics between the old characters.
Story Introduction
The story begins with a high-stakes scene where Abhijeet’s daughter, Shreya, is tied to a chair with a time bomb strapped to her. Her life is in grave danger. As the CID team arrives, Daya and Abhijeet make a heroic entry.
A criminal challenges the CID team, saying:
“If you have the courage to save your daughter, step forward.”
Abhijeet is under immense pressure as his daughter’s life is at risk. While Daya and Abhijeet try their best to save her, a massive explosion occurs.
Daya and Abhijeet Drift Apart
Following the tragedy, Abhijeet blames Daya for Shreya’s death. In a fit of rage, he shoots Daya, who falls into a river. This incident marks a major turning point in the story.
On the other hand, Abhijeet is shown in jail, estranged from the CID team, mourning his daughter’s apparent death and reminiscing about Daya.
Two New Entries and a Murder Mystery
Two new officers join the CID team, one of them being Dhwajoravni. Meanwhile, a woman is found dead in a train, killed by a gunshot. She turns out to be a chemistry professor.
A second murder occurs at a party, where a man is shot by a sniper. Both murders are linked to a game installed on the victims’ phones.
Shreya is Alive!
During the investigation, Pankaj spots Shreya alive in a location. However, before he can alert the team, another explosion occurs. Thankfully, Daya reaches there in time and saves Shreya. This revelation shocks everyone.
Abhijeet is informed that Shreya is alive and that Daya saved her life.
The Truth Unveiled
Daya returns to the team and reveals that Abhijeet’s bullet did not hit him; it was a sniper shot from an unknown assailant.
The CID team identifies the culprit as a man with one green and one blue eye. He is seeking revenge for the death of his friend, Shashank, who was part of a CID mission. The culprit believes that CID abandoned Shashank and left him to die.
Preventing the Blast
The culprit orchestrates a major conspiracy. He plants bombs in candles at a public event where ACP Pradyuman is the chief guest. ACP notices something unusual about the candles and realizes they contain explosives. The CID team acts swiftly and prevents the blast in time.
Final Scene and Climax
Daya and Abhijeet together capture the sniper, who had killed two innocent people—the chemistry professor, from whom he learned to make bombs, and the second man, from whom he acquired chemicals. He murdered them to eliminate any liabilities.
Abhijeet realizes that Daya was the true savior of his daughter. The two reconcile and rejoin the CID team, marking a fresh start for the iconic team.
