Christmas story in English
A long time ago, an amazing event happened in Bethlehem, a small town in Judea (today’s Israel). This story is about the night when the symbol of love and mercy, Isa Masih (Jesus Christ), came to this earth.
Birth of jesus christ:
Mary (Mary) and Joseph (Joseph) were an ordinary couple. Mary was told by the angel Gabriel that she would give birth to the Son of God, who would bring the message of love and peace to the entire world. This was God’s plan.
The emperor ordered that every person would have to go to his ancestral town and get his name registered in the census. So Mary and Joseph had to go to Bethlehem. But when they reached there, there was no room in the inn. Eventually, they took refuge in a stable.
During the night, Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ. They laid the baby in a manger. At the same time, a bright star appeared in the sky, announcing the birth of Jesus.
Good news to the shepherds:
Shepherds were taking care of their sheep in the nearby fields. Suddenly, an angel appeared and said,
“Do not be afraid! I have come to bring you glad tidings. Today a Savior has been born in Bethlehem. He is the Christ. Go, look at that child.” The shepherds happily reached that place and after seeing Jesus Christ, they worshiped him.
Arrival of the Three Wise Men:
Three wise men (Magi) from the east followed the shining star and reached Bethlehem. They knew that this star marked the birth of a great king. They brought three gifts for Jesus—gold (symbolizing kingship), frankincense (symbolizing worship of God), and myrrh (symbolizing sacrifice).
Importance of christmas:
The birth of Jesus Christ is a symbol of love, hope, and mercy. He taught that all human beings are equal and we should love each other.
Today, Christmas is celebrated to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. People decorate their homes, put up Christmas trees, give gifts and pray. Santa Claus spreads happiness by giving gifts to children. Christmas is not just a festival, but it is a message of truth, love, and humanity
