De Aare Typical Family” Season 1
The story begins in a flashback. Gajju is having fun with his friends and takes part in a lucky draw. He wins a cute fish. But when he returns home with the fish, his mother sees it and gets furious. She scolds him, “How many times have I told you not to go there? You could have had an accident!” Gajju tries to show her the fish, but his mother starts hitting him with a stick.

Suddenly, Gajju disappears and finds himself back in the same place where he had won the fish. He realizes that he’s gone back in time. He soon understands that he can only observe but can’t change anything. He sees a girl running, and suddenly, she meets with an accident. Gajju tries to go back in time repeatedly to stop it, but each time, he fails. Eventually, he returns to his mother, who congratulates him, “You’ve traveled through time, Gajju!” However, Gajju isn’t happy and is still thinking about his failure.

The story then moves to the present. Gajju is standing outside his house when he notices a doll that Aina had given him. Aina comes and scolds him, “Stop looking at your phone all the time, look around you.” Gajju jokingly replies, “Okay, Knois,” and walks away a little.

In the next scene, Gajju is in a mall, looking at lipstick. Daya comes up to him and asks, “Are you buying this for someone special?” Gajju tries to avoid the question, but Daya keeps talking to him. Gajju jokes, “Do you want to marry me?” Daya laughs and replies, “No, I’m just shopping.” Gajju is staring at shoes in the mall, but his mind is elsewhere. Daya insists on him buying the shoes, but Gajju declines.
There is a small argument between Gajju and Daya, which leads to Daya’s shirt getting torn. Gajju ignores her. Later, Daya comes back with a bag and says, “I bought some things for Aina.” Gajju takes the bag and leaves, but suddenly, a fire alarm goes off in the mall. Daya, terrified, sits on the ground, and Gajju grabs her hand. She feels relieved, but when she looks again, Gajju has disappeared.

In Gajju’s room, he finds Aina’s bag, which contains shoes. Aina is delighted when she finds them. The next scene shows Dongi and Ganesha talking, where Dongi asks about her mother transferring her property. Ganesha explains that everything is being done for Aina’s well-being.

Manvi, Gajju’s mother, tells him, “You need a fresh start, become a good father.” Gajju realizes that she might be right.
Manvi says, “You both like each other, but can’t say it because you’re holding yourselves back for your own reasons. So, talk openly today, drink some alcohol, and enjoy a little. Now, I’m leaving.” After Manvi leaves, Gajju and Daya are left alone. Gajju starts drinking, and Daya tries to stop him, but he doesn’t listen. After a while, Daya also starts drinking. An awkward silence falls between them, but their eyes say a lot.

In the next scene, Dongi is shown at a clinic. She has come to meet Dr. Jahan. She asks the nurse, “Where is Jahan?” The nurse replies, “He’s with his last patient.” As Dongi walks around, she sees her own photo placed in Dr. Jahan’s office. Laughing, she says, “Hey, who put this photo here?” The nurse smiles and says, “Chauhan asked for it to be placed here.” Dongi laughs and says, “Ah, I remember. I told him to put it here.” She sits down and waits for Jahan. In front of her, there are some candies, but suddenly she hears some noise from inside. She feels like Jahan is with a girl, and something might be happening between them. She gets irritated and eats all the candies in anger. Then, without stopping, she goes to Jahan, only to find that he is alone. Jahan says, “My work was done.” Dongi laughs lightly and says, “It’s time to close the clinic.”
Gres turns to Jahan and says, “Then I should buy you food.” Dongi, a little annoyed, says, “Why would you do that?” Gres smiles and replies, “Jahan is doing so much work for me, so I should do something in return.” Dongi’s face shows a slight sarcastic expression. On the way home, Gres tells her, “You already ate all the food.” After a while, Dongi and Jahan are sitting somewhere drinking. Dongi jokes, “I didn’t know that medical examination could be so fun.” Jahan becomes a little serious and says, “She’s a big influencer, she has many fans. I’m doing all this to promote our clinic.”

Suddenly, Dongi pulls out a document and says, “Then let’s get married.” Jahan, a little confused, says, “It’s not like getting married will make the building ours, and after that, we’ll have to have a child.” Dongi takes it lightly and says, “That will have to happen,” but Jahan speaks in a calm voice, “I don’t want that. I want to return the money you gave me for the clinic. Until I pay it back, I can’t marry.” Dongi, hiding her anger, goes to the gym. Gres is also there, but when she tries to speak to her, Dongi completely ignores her and focuses on her work.

In the next scene, Aina is shown exiting her school, but someone’s eyes are following her. The man appears strange, and Aina feels like someone is following her. Panicked, she starts running and the man chases her. Aina rushes into the restroom to hide and calls all her family members in panic. Sunu is listening to music, so he doesn’t pick up the call. Dongi is busy with her work, and Man is deep in sleep. Terrified, Aina suddenly remembers her father’s words, “You should call me sometimes.” Gathering courage, she calls her father, but Daya picks up the phone and says, “I’m here, what’s wrong, is everything okay?” Aina quickly explains her situation. Daya understands that something is wrong and wakes up Gajju, saying, “Your daughter called me, seems like someone is following her.”

Though Gajju is drunk, he somehow starts running after hearing the news. Daya is ready to go with him, but the restaurant owner says, “Payment hasn’t been made.” Daya pays for it, and when the message confirming the transaction appears on her phone, her face drops slightly. On the other hand, Gajju, staggering, tries to run but can’t walk properly due to the alcohol. Daya says, “I know where she’ll be. Just follow me.”
Daya, Gajju, and a few others reach the restroom. As soon as Gajju arrives near the restroom, he sees the man who was following his daughter. Gajju, furious, looks at him and says, “What were you doing?” Gajju angrily asks the man, “Who are you and what are you doing here?” The man steps toward Gajju as if he’s about to hit him, but as soon as he tries to do something, Daya signals him to stop.

Gajju is knocked down, and an old memory comes rushing back, when his young daughter innocently asked, “If you go to save others, then who will protect me?” This memory gives Gajju the strength, and he gets up with all his might, ready for a powerful punch. He strikes the man’s helmet, causing it to shake. Gajju looks at Daya, who signals him to calm down and says, “Pretend as if you’re hurt.” Gajju does as told and falls to the ground. As he leaves, he warns the man, “Don’t show up here again.”

Afterward, Aina comes out of the restroom. She stands silently next to her father without saying anything. Gajju approaches her and gently asks, “Are you okay?” but Aina doesn’t respond. Daya comes to Aina and asks her, “Why did you call your father?” Daya understands her distress, goes inside a store, brings some fruit, and hands them to Aina, saying, “Congratulations on your first period.” She also gives her a shirt to wear. After a while, they all return home. Aina thanks Daya while handing the shirt back. Gajju watches all this and tries to talk to Aina, but she gently says, “Don’t say anything now,” and goes inside the house.

As Daya is about to leave, Gajju stops her and asks, “Would you like to have some alcohol?”
In the next scene, they are both drinking together. Daya looks at Gajju’s hand and says, “You should go to the doctor, I thought your hand was broken.” Gajju smiles slightly and says, “Didn’t you hear? The man’s helmet was broken. But thank you, I can’t thank you. I’m not even capable of feeling that. If I could, I wouldn’t be depressed.” Daya speaks seriously, “You already have, you held my hand.” Gajju, surprised, asks, “When did I do that? Why are you lying to me?” Daya replies calmly, “When we were at the mall and the fire alarm went off, you held my hand.” Gajju immediately denies it, saying, “I didn’t do that.” Daya laughs and says, “Maybe someone from the future came and held my hand.” Gajju denies again, “That’s not possible.” Daya says seriously, “Who knows, if your depression ends and your life returns to happiness, anything can happen.

Thinking for a while, Gajju says, “If I had drunk, I wouldn’t have been able to hold your hand. I can’t touch anything from the past.” Daya smiles and ties a bandage around Gajju’s hand.
The next scene shifts to Dongi, who is running quickly, her breaths becoming heavier. Gres, who is nearby, sees her condition, understands, and approaches her. Dongi, panicking, says, “Why did Jahan take my photo? I wanted to leave here earlier.” Dongi’s legs start shaking, and she almost falls, but Gres catches her. She supports Dongi and tries to calm her down. Dongi can’t hold back her emotions and starts crying.
On the other side, Gajju is sitting alone in his room, with Aina’s school documents in front of him. As he signs them, he remembers when he and Daya were drinking together, Daya said to him, “You should think about this again. You held my hand, maybe you don’t remember, but think about it…” Gajju had responded directly at that time, “Nothing happened. It’s better if you stay away from me.”

But now, sitting alone in the room, Gajju mumbles to himself, “How could this be? I didn’t go to her in the past.” He closes his eyes and tries to remember. Suddenly, something unusual happens—Gajju disappears and finds himself in a shopping mall. He looks around and sees his past self. He tries to touch himself.
